Snowy Plovers (Sandpipers) Running 12/27

This is the last painting party at Art ‘n Party. The couple, Jason and MAry Ann, came to the studio because they saw Linda and I painting on the beach. This is Jason’s first painting ever. It was one of the few Mary Ann had painted. You guys are awesome. Donna – you are a master after only 3 or 4 paintings and Linda, you have been my true muse – always enthusiastically supporting my ideas and verbose ramblings about all the painting ideas that I had to share with you. You offered a patient ear, a twinkle in your eyes, and then you would share a wealth of knowledge in a few well chosen words. Thank you guys… for being here and painting with me on this last occasion.

Yes, Shawn…painting Thursday night was a blast! Everyone had a great time…and Donna, a multi-participant in the ArtnParty scene demonstrated once again her natural talent…her control of the brush strokes is the most like our highly esteemed artist/teacher…and we all turned out with amazing “masterpiece paintings”…although, I must admit, my own painting is best described as an “angry birds” rendition!
There is always fun and laughter throughout the evening…however, as we paint, the emerging art takes on the flavor of each person’s personality and turns out an original piece of art! Shawn, you have made a difference in our lives by offering each person the opportunity to unleash their inner artist! Thanks for what you do! It’s fabulous!
